COVID19 Precautions and
Tips for Beginners
- Remember that Beginners are welcome and encouraged! Everybody starts somewhere.
- Don't eat 1 hour before class, but drink and bring lots of water.
- DO NOT moisturize 24 hours before you come to pole class. It makes the pole slippery and dangerous!
- Wear appropriate pole gear (two pairs of underwear, booty shorts, sports bra, similar to beach wear).
- Because of COVID19, we now require every student to bring their own yoga mat, pole towel, water bottle, and any other gear you'd like to have during class (knee pads, heels, etc)
- As a COVID19 precaution, we clean the studio after every class. This includes mopping, sanitizing mirrors, poles, doorknobs and anything else that may have been touched during class
- We require that all students wear a mask in class
- If any student has left the county, been in large groups of people, or may otherwise have been exposed to COVID19 in any way, we ask that they refrain from coming to class until they have self quarantined for 14 days. We take the health of our students and teachers incredibly seriously, and we recognize that all of our health is interconnected.
- In the process of learning new things, be kind to yourself. Pole dance is a journey and a practice. You are doing great!
